NINE 17 STUDIOS LAB — WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

STEP 1 — TOOLS & SETUP

Learn which AI tools you need for writing, image creation, video generation, editing, voices, music, and more. You’ll learn what each tool is used for and how they work together to create a complete series.

STEP 2 — CREATING THE PLOT

Learn how to turn a simple idea into a full storyline. We’ll cover your main concept, genre, conflict, romance, drama, secrets, plot twists, cliffhangers, character relationships, and how to map out where your story is going before you start creating.

STEP 3 — EPISODE PLANNING

Learn how to break your main storyline into individual episodes. You’ll learn how to decide what happens in each episode, create strong opening hooks, build suspense, write short scenes, and end episodes in a way that makes viewers want to watch the next one.

STEP 4 — CHARACTER CREATION

Build your cast from scratch. Learn how to create your main character, love interests, family members, friends, villains, and supporting characters. We’ll develop their appearance, age, personality, backstory, relationships, motivations, signature style, and role in the story.

STEP 5 — CHARACTER CONSISTENCY

Learn how to keep your characters looking like the same person in every scene. We’ll cover identity locking, facial features, body proportions, skin tone, hair, height, distinguishing features, reference photos, and writing consistency prompts.

STEP 6 — CHARACTER STYLING & OUTFIT CHANGES

Learn how to change hairstyles, clothing, makeup, accessories, and looks without accidentally changing your character’s identity. You’ll also learn how to create wardrobes that fit different scenes, locations, personalities, and moments in your storyline.

STEP 7 — PHOTO CREATION

Learn how to create realistic images of your characters for your series. We’ll cover full-body shots, close-ups, different camera angles, poses, expressions, lighting, cinematic stills, group photos, couples, and multi-character scenes.

STEP 8 — BACKGROUNDS & WORLD BUILDING

Build the world your characters live in. Learn how to create recurring locations such as homes, bedrooms, stores, offices, restaurants, schools, streets, clubs, hospitals, and other environments while keeping those locations consistent throughout your series.

STEP 9 — SCENE BUILDING

Learn how to put your characters + outfits + backgrounds + story together into one believable scene. We’ll cover character placement, interactions, facial expressions, camera framing, lighting, props, continuity, and making every image match what is happening in the episode.

STEP 10 — PROMPTING

Learn how to write clear, detailed prompts that AI actually understands. We’ll cover image prompts, video prompts, identity locks, camera directions, actions, dialogue, negative instructions, fixing generation mistakes, and rewriting prompts when AI doesn’t give you what you asked for.

STEP 11 — VIDEO CREATION

Turn your photos into cinematic scenes. Learn how to make your characters walk, talk, react, argue, cry, laugh, interact, and move naturally while keeping their identities consistent. We’ll also cover camera movement, timing, scene direction, and creating short clips that connect together.

STEP 12 — VOICES & DIALOGUE

Learn how to give each character their own recognizable voice and personality. We’ll cover dialogue writing, voice consistency, pronunciation, emotion, pacing, and making conversations sound natural instead of robotic.

STEP 13 — EDITING YOUR EPISODE

Learn how to take your individual AI clips and turn them into a finished episode. We’ll cover scene order, cuts, pacing, transitions, dialogue, sound effects, music, captions, opening hooks, and cliffhanger endings.

STEP 14 — SERIES CONSISTENCY

Learn how to keep track of everything as your series grows—characters, relationships, outfits, locations, storylines, previous events, character knowledge, and unresolved plot points—so Episode 20 still feels connected to Episode 1.

STEP 15 — FINAL EPISODE & PUBLISHING

Put everything together and prepare your series for viewers. Learn how to create titles, thumbnails/covers, episode descriptions, promotional content, teasers, and a repeatable workflow so you can continue producing new episodes without starting from scratch every time.

THE GOAL

By the end of Nine 17 Studios Lab, students won’t just know how to generate AI photos or videos—they’ll know how to take an original idea and develop it into a complete, consistent AI series with its own plot, characters, world, scenes, dialogue, and finished episodes.
