Young Jesus Book 1: The Boy Who Noticed

Meet the creator

The Boy Who Noticed changes everything you thought you knew about history's most famous child.

At six years old, he doesn't perform miracles. He just... notices. How dust dances when no one's watching. How broken things teach wholeness. How water remembers.

But when mysterious marks appear on his palm—spreading, darkening, asking questions in heaven's own script—the village turns. Some whisper "chosen." Others hiss "cursed." And he must decide: hide who he is, or help others see what he sees.

For every parent whose child "knows things." For every kid who sees too much. For everyone who left religion but kept the mystery.

"My weird kid finally felt seen." "I'm 62 and couldn't put it down." "Finally, a Jesus story for those of us who left church but not God."

Book One of The Young Jesus Chronicles. Where different isn't broken. It's holy.

Ages 8-adult. Because truth doesn't have an age limit.

Wonder-ful story about how it may have been to be the child who would one day save man kind. Jesus left us a map in his Word. Patterns. For those who have sought Spiritual inner-standing this story will feel familiar. The author expresses beautiful literary creativity not only in words, but in thoughts! I thoroughly enjoyed it! It’s not only for children. It’s a lovely story for everyone who considers the possibilities of truly amazing things! Looking forward to the next one!

A beautifully poetic heartfelt story. It is so rare to find a writer who has such deep empathy for their characters, and who is able to create a character that comes alive on the page. And yet the author Eko makes it seem so easy. This book about Jesus as a boy is more than just a story, and more than fiction. It is a truly divinely inspired tale, told by a masterful storyteller who has a powerful holy curiosity. It has a timeless and truthful and magical quality. I don’t know if any of this story is factually true. But it speaks to a larger and more important truth—Jesus must have been an extraordinarily special child. He was so unusually blessed, that his blessings must have confused and alarmed the people at the time. Jesus told us to become like children, in order to enter the kingdom of heaven. This book is a great and inspiring guide, to do precisely that. It speaks to the good and innocent child in all of us, and it encourages us to have eyes to see and ears to hear. I can not wait to read the rest of this story, and I hope that there are many more chapters to come! David Bradford Scheidig Schajer

A good story draws you in and you become part of it. You feel the love, the confusion, the anger of characters. You are such a part of the story you don’t want it to end. The Boy Who Noticed: A Story of Seeing Too Much does just that. It draws you in with a feeling of wonder that just feels like a possibility. There were many truths that just rang out loudly. One being when Jesus explained that being loved for doing miracles was not really the right type of love. Another truth was sometimes healing is not what is needed. I can’t wait to gather my grandchildren and begin reading these stories of Young Jesus with them. I know it will lead them to want ti know more and more as they grow up. Thank you for writing such a beautiful story!
