A 23-page integrative guide for non-Black witches who want to decolonize their mind for effective racial justice magick.

Solidarity Magick told you what to do with your hands. Stay is the inner work that nobody sees: 8 reflections for non-Black witches and practitioners who want to commit to staying in solidarity with Black witches and practitioners. I believe decolonizing is spiritual work, literally. “Spiritual” means going within. If you skip that part, the rituals become meaningless.

WHAT'S INSIDE

• 8 reflections, 6 questions each
• A “sit with it” instruction for each one
• 1 material action to take within 24 hours
• Reflections specific for non-Black readers of color
• Reflections of day 30, 60 and 90

WHAT THIS BOOK IS NOT

• It is not absolution. You won’t finish it and become “a good ally.”
• It isn’t a script, a shortcut, or something to hand to a Black practitioner for approval.

It will show you where you are and take you deeper. (and that's why you're here, right?)

WHO IT'S FOR

• Practitioners who downloaded Solidarity Magick and want to go deeper on their anti-racist journey.
• Readers who want to change from the inside out and get be more effective in the fight against white supremacy

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I'm Chanel, writer, fourth-generation diviner, and Hoodoo rootworker. I've spent close to two decades studying under theologians and scholars. I'm an ordained minister so I can officiate for my LGBTQ+ family, but I don't preach or pastor. I'm also the mother of two teenage Black boys, that is the real reason I do this work.

FAQs

Is this Hoodoo?

Absolutely not. This book was written to include practices that belong to no one and everyone. Solidarity Magick explains this at length.

I'm not white. Is this for me?

Yes. It's written for non-Black practitioners. While some of the content is written for white American readers, there is also content that applies specifically to people of color who stand outside the practice of Hoodoo.

Can I share this book?

Please do. My only ask is that you send the link to this page, not the file you download, that way I can track readership and be properly compensated for my work.

What will you do with my contact information?

I will use your email address to add you to my email community, which is the list of email subscribers who receive Pieces x Pages, my weekly newsletter. Your contact information will not be used in any other manner.
